As a fully managed service, once the simple setup process is complete, we take care of the operation of the service, and we can make adjustments or restore data on your behalf. Of course you have full access to your data and if you want to initiate a restore yourself, then of course you can do that without contacting us, as you will have full portal access.
For M365 customers, the backup includes all email, contact, calendar, notes, to-do data, as well as all OneDrive, Sharepoint, and OneNote data.
Your backup data is stored in the country of your choice (Data Sovereignty), and all backups are immutable, which protects them from deletion, which is a common tactic used by threat actors.
You are in full control of your backup data, including lifecycle of backups for regulatory purposes.
